A table with a leading winemaker, couture before the doors open, and a collaboration between two London institutions: November’s most interesting experiences invite a closer look. This month, the LMH team’s selection takes us from The Landmark to The Savoy, with an orchestral evening in South Kensington and a photography-led escape to Paris.
The Table: Winemakers’ Lunches at The Landmark

Decanter’s Fine Wine Encounter returns to The Landmark London, but it’s the smaller gatherings within the programme that have our attention. Friday’s Winemakers’ Lunches welcome just six guests each, pairing a curated menu with wines and conversation hosted by a leading producer. Saturday brings masterclasses from names including Dom Pérignon, Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Seña, while the Cellar Collection offers mature releases and rare library vintages to taste side by side. For collectors and curious enthusiasts alike, the appeal lies in spending time with the people behind the bottles.
6–7 November 2026. The Landmark London, Marylebone. Winemakers’ Lunches take place on Friday; masterclasses on Saturday. Separate tickets apply.
The Collaboration: Liberty London Meets The Savoy

Two London institutions come together this season as Liberty brings its signature prints and archival designs to The Savoy. A pop-up at The Florist offers silk scarves, accessories and fragrances, while November introduces a Liberty-designed Christmas tree inspired by the botanical motifs of its Adelphi Voyage print. From 16 November, the hotel’s wider transformation takes its cue from Around the World in 80 Days, complete with a Laurent-Perrier Champagne pop-up in the forecourt, styled around a hot-air balloon. We would make an afternoon of it: thoughtful gifting followed by a glass of champagne as the festive season begins.
Festive installation and champagne pop-up from 16 November 2026. The Savoy, Strand. The Liberty retail pop-up opens ahead of the festivities in October.
The Performance: An Evening with Melody Gardot

Melody Gardot’s Royal Albert Hall appearance is our pick of this year’s EFG London Jazz Festival. For one night, the singer-songwriter joins the London Philharmonic Orchestra, South Africa’s Thanda Choir and trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf, bringing a different scale and texture to her distinctive sound. The collaboration is the reason to book: an opportunity to hear Gardot in an orchestral setting, within one of London’s great performance spaces.
16 November 2026, 7.30pm. Royal Albert Hall, South Kensington.
The Last Chance: Schiaparelli at the V&A

Schiaparelli’s surreal world enters its final weeks at the V&A this November. Spanning Elsa Schiaparelli’s early experiments through to Daniel Roseberry’s contemporary couture, the exhibition explores a house whose dialogue with art remains central to its identity. For V&A members, the closing-weekend morning views offer a particularly appealing way to experience it, with access from 8am before the museum’s usual opening. A final opportunity to spend time with the craftsmanship, wit and imagination behind the clothes.
Exhibition closes 15 November 2026. V&A South Kensington. General admission is currently sold out but members can still visit. The 14–15 November morning views, 8–9.45am, require a separate members’ booking.
The Journey Worth Making: Paris Photo

Paris Photo returns to the Grand Palais as photography marks its bicentennial, bringing historic prints, contemporary work and photographic publishing beneath its glass roof. For those building a collection—or refining their eye—the fair offers the opportunity to explore the medium across generations and meet the galleries shaping its future. Our preferred approach is to allow time beyond the main exhibition: the programme includes conversations, book signings and guided tours. The Premium Duo Pass adds preview access and early entry, making it an appealing option for a considered visit.
12–15 November 2026. Grand Palais, Paris. The Premium Duo Pass includes access to the preview on 11 November and subsequent VIP morning openings.
