The Event: Salon Privé

A pinnacle of automotive excellence and sartorial flair, Salon Privé London returns to the Royal Hospital Chelsea for its summer edition. Celebrating the world’s most iconic marques from vintage Bugattis to cutting-edge hypercars, the event is as much about elegance as engineering. Guests enjoy private viewings, champagne receptions, luxury retail showcases and the highly anticipated Concours de Vente. With its blend of heritage, horology and high design, Salon Privé remains one of London’s most distinguished summer events.

28–30 August 2025, Royal Hospital Chelsea, London

The Exhibition: The Exhibition: Kiefer/Van Gogh

The Royal Academy of Arts presents Kiefer / Van Gogh – a major new exhibition exploring the creative resonance between two of art’s most visionary figures. Bringing together the elemental, post-war intensity of Anselm Kiefer with the emotional luminosity of Vincent van Gogh, the show examines how both artists channel inner turmoil into transcendent expression. Set within the elegant Gabrielle Jungels-Winkler Galleries, the exhibition features rarely seen works from Kiefer alongside intimate reflections on Van Gogh’s influence. Expect vast, tactile canvases layered with ash, lead and earth – juxtaposed with letters, sketches and glowing tributes to Van Gogh’s spiritual and visual legacy.

28 June-26 October 2025, Gabrielle Jungels-Winkler Galleries, Burlington Gardens (Royal Academy of Arts), London
