The Restaurant: Bonheur, Mayfair

In the heart of Mayfair, culinary precision meets heartfelt warmth in Bonheur – the first solo venture from chef  Matt Abé, formerly of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. Set in the storied site of the former Le Gavroche, the restaurant revisits fine dining with a lighter, more personal touch. Expect tasting menus centred on seasonal British ingredients – think Cornish turbot with celeriac & lobster hollandaise or the exclusive 125-day‑aged Cumbrian Blue Grey sirloin – all served in an interior that nods subtly to Abé’s Australian roots.

Open from 4 November 2025 at 43 Upper Brook Street, W1K 7QR

The Pop-Up: Fortnum & Mason x Charlie Mackesy

Fortnum & Mason’s iconic ice cream parlour takes on a whimsical new form this season through a collaboration with British illustrator and author Charlie Mackesy. Running until early January, the space is transformed with Mackesy’s signature artwork from The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, wrapping the walls in storytelling charm. The limited-edition menu features the show-stopping Mole Cake – a three-tier sponge with strawberries and cream, donating £1 per slice to Centrepoint – alongside playful tarts, savoury bites and the legendary Knickerbocker Glory. A heart-warming celebration of sweetness, creativity and British tradition.

Open now – 181 Piccadilly, W1A 1ER
